Corrales Harvest Festival

POSTER & T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

Each year the Harvest Festival announces a “Call to Artists” for images to be used on our Festival T-Shirts and the Festival Poster. If you would like to submit an entry for our Harvest Festival, please read the guidelines below. For more information, download the application form.

CONTEST GUIDELINES: Deadline for entires is May 15. All images must be original artwork of the entrant. You may submit one entry for the contest.

Posters will be printed in an 18” x 24”size, so an image must have a ratio of 3:4 to avoid cropping.

T-shirt screen printing is fairly lo-rez, so detailed images may not translate well.

If you include an e-mail address, we will notify you of your status via e-mail, otherwise we will contact you by phone. Winner(s) grant the Corrales Harvest Festival a one-time use of the media selected.

Artist Statement: When I think back to my earliest memories of the Harvest Festival, I think of tractors. To me, a landscape of the Sandia mountains and a tractor in a field is the essence of the Harvest Festival and speaks to the heart of Corrales. I painted this piece with thick, juicy paint because I love the plentiful and indulgent feeling it creates. My colors are bright and whimsical in an attempt to capture the spirit of Corrales.
