Images for the T-Shirt / Poster Art Contest Have Been Selected!

Each year the Harvest Festival announces a “Call to Artists” for images to be used on our Festival T-Shirts and/or the Festival Poster. For 2010 we received 15 entries, and after an extensive jurying process, these are the images chosen by our Harvest Festival Committee. Artists may enter an image for either the T-Shirt or the Poster. This year our winner, Barbara Clark (a previous poster winner) submitted images for both the T-shirt and the Poster, and both were selected by a narrow margin. CONTEST GUIDELINES: All images must be original artwork of the Entrant. You may submit 1 poster entry and/or 1 t-shirt entry. If you include an e-mail address, we will notify you of your status via e-mail, otherwise we will contact you by phone. Winner(s) grant the Corrales Harvest Festival a one-time use of the media selected. All original artwork will be returned via U.S. mail, if requested. Email entries: final size must be 81/2 x 11 (either portrait or landscape) and a minimum of 150 dpi. You may submit a JPG, TIFF or PDF file for jurying. Final image size for posters should be close to 18” x 24”. Final image size for t-shirts must fit inside a 12” x 12” screen-printed area. Remember - t-shirt screen printing is fairly lo-rez, so detailed images may not translate well.
